where is this el paso show going to occur? it is like five minutes from the dog bed den, and i would like to throw confetti there. maybe ride a unicorn into the show and mystify with wizard pogs and pokeguts. or just watch. i get my lawn mower serviced in el paso. maybe i will get the kind old man who fixes it to come and serve lil' smokies.
i will come.

Hey Cory! Read your entry in Egon's guestbook. Sounds awesome! LOL. Getting drunk with the head of the economics department sounds fabulous! But really, playing at the Bowling and Billards place sounds like it would be a lot of fun. I was there once when I was 14. It was cool. It'd be cool to go back and play. We've played down there a few times already...so I think we can get quite a few people to come. Work on it. We'll totally play...depending on what day it is. Just let us know! :)

so, i have been thinking... hmmm... yes.. thinking. anyhoo... i believe that there are some people over here in des moines, yep, there are people in iowa, that may indeed very much like what you gents are doing in regards to your musical exploration. i don't know if it is possible, but i thought perhaps, if you wanted, i could attempt to set something up in the area because i would like to spread the "rebekah's tape" word, so to speak, and recordings don't do you guys justice. not that i haven't opened the ears of my peers to your musical stylings (hehe... i like that phrase), but i just think a live show is always better. (i don't know if that is an option or if you would want to, but if so, i can try to do some of the dealings in my area or school to help) hopefully, this invokes some sort of response from someone.

i got that crazy madness photoshop action you made, yes i did. it was swirly and amusing. thank yuo yuo yuo. EVERYBODY COME TO THE OPEN MIC THIS FRIDAY THE 13TH OF FEB.!!!! 8 PM!! ONE DOLLAR ADMISSION!!! today i bought the cd of "where the sidewalk ends" as written, recited, sung, and shouted by shel silverstein. i haven't listened to it yet but i'm fairly excited. what a weird salvation army procurement. i also hate malls and retail stores. people there (shoppers and many employees) are often impatient, unempathetic, superficial, judgmental, and generally angry looking(-especially the customers). yes, generalization, but i always seem to perceive it this way. that's why i stay at home a lot.

(boo) well, to answer jj's question first off, I was listening to The Last Poets, Right On album. I don't recall which particular piece. hmmmmmm.... yes, much love for the last poets. thanks much for the introduction jj. beyond that, sadly i cannot attend to open mic (which indeed leads to me missing the sitar and makes me sad *tear, tear*), although with a good excuse one should hope that i would cease from being devoured or something of the sorts. yes, yes, i would like very much to not be eaten. once again a roaring round of applause for the last show at the cancun, dancing/music ecstasy that it was. i miss all the lovely and at times contorted faces of you folks. yep, yep.... tchau for now (until my next rambling guest book entry). by the way, mike, did you ever get the email i sent you of my photoshop fun?

I'm trying to get another page of photographs together and will hopefully finish up our music samples index page. For those of you who might be interested, I'll probably be bringing my sitar to the open mic on Friday the 13th! everyone should be there (or be EATEN). yes. devoured, perhaps. or maybe shish-kabobed. and carol anne, what last poets were you listening too? yeah, boo, that's you.

hey there. great show on saturday night for those of you that played, and i didn't get to thank. good fun was had by me. i decided that "dancing is independence" during the r-tape portion of the evening. so thanks guys for providing the means by which i found a brief state of nirvana. (for those of you that didn't dance, yep, paradise was found and you missed it, god damn it) blah, blah, blah. mike, no need for thanks about the decorating goodness; it is absolutely redonkulous. the headless release party was excellent last night.it's sort of a bummer it didn't get started a little sooner, and that family of light bulbs and r tape took longer than they should have, but it's ok. everything else was completely excellent all the way. it was so nice of carol anne/annie/rick/tracy/luke/sarah/nathan/joel/etc. to help decorate....it was very very nice of them yes it sure was. and everyone who helped take things down after the show is greatly appreciated as well...thanks everyone so much! hopefully soon we'll get the damn headless page set up so people can see the stuff here. I think I can see good points in what Bloppy said and what you said Mike, so I agree with you both to a degree. I think what Bloppy may have been trying to say is if people are occupied doing something they are enjoying doing while they drink, they might be less likely to stagger about drunkenly looking for something to do and possible fall on etc... just a thought

being drunk and stupid has nothing to do with being a responsible and considerate person the following morning(if you stay over-which most people who get drunk do) by cleaning up some of the huge mess or at least putting your damn blankets away. there is also a certain degree of control that i'm sure most people who come to my house
-most notably my closest friends- possess EVEN WHILE DRUNK to help keep things from getting broken or prevent doing rude annoying things with my possessions. eat my dump, bloppy. you will not try to hump or have weird meetings in my basement. take out a personal ad in the newspaper instead of putting your dirty old man crap on the guestbook. you left that weird dirty fish movie over at my house last time, too. i'll throw it away if you don't come get it soon. i didn't want it in my house in the first place.
mike
Faust- 71 minutes of, -
I wanted to say to Mike, just a thought...if you perhaps had something to do at your "gatherings" other than to get drunk and stupid, perhaps the incidences of drunken stupidity might decline a bit. Perhaps some sort of creative type games such as what I hear usually takes place at Tracy's house. I'm to understand that people get drunk, have fun, and don't get too stupid over there. Also, to those who prefer the drunken stupidity at Mike's house, I would like to schedule one on one meetings with you in Mike's basement. And on a final note, I'm still open to any freaky hot chicks who dig fish sticks...if you know what I mean...wink wink.

just to inform anyone who might see this who feels this information to be relevant to them, i would not like to have very many people at my house after the show on saturday(the31stof january). it needs to be a smaller deal this time as i'm getting sick of dealing with people screwing with my posessions while they're drunk(even if they are my best friends) and cleaning up too much of a mess(alone mostly) each time i have company. i would like to keep it below the 12 people mark if i could. if you stay overnight please be prepared to help me keep the place under control and then help clean the mess the following morning.

holy poo poo! I was just looking at the flyer archives. That's insanity how many you guys have found recently. I don't remember much from the show at the juice bar on May 11th, but I do know that was right after Cory and I graduated from LP, which seems really strange that it was still open at that time. Most of the juice bar shows were bad because the neighbors complained. Hey! Maybe that was the first night I stole Mike's antennas from him!! hahahahahahahahahaha.
Oh, and I definitely remember the shows at the PCW. Remember the first night how you guys played in the ring? Well, some of you tried. And then we tried to stop random people and get them to come by having a sign in the back of Curt's truck...and the horrible smell of the portopotty. Oh, and when John Doe Beatdown Posse played they did "Bodies" lounge-act style, it was gorgeous. I just wish you guys would find a flyer from Sip-Stock when there were 9 bands that played at the juice bar, that night was flipping cool. Oh, and speaking of the juice bar, do you guys remember ATF? Those silly little 16 year olds that had beyond expensive equipment that mommy and daddy bought them and all they played were Green Day covers? Yeah, I remember wanting to kill Rocko for letting those guys play. They were from LaMoille. Hope I stirred some fond memories...ttfn

how many words in the dictionairy end in am? could someone tell me, i'm too lazy too look it up.........SHAZAM! more periods followed by a filler word...haha...ok, that's all for now......later

I wanted to wish every intangible cat guestbook-observer a "very special holiday season". (they say that kinda phrase on a radio commercial, from some state bank or something. extra cheesy like). Seriously though, many people have helped us over the years and we all appreciate that shit. oooh baby how we do. merry christmas lovers.

sonamabitch its late. why the fuck am i writing this so late? show was a blast, so was randy. he does mean things at mikes house sometimes. dancning nancies are expanding their sound and they seem very sincere about it. love those guys. purpl num num totally rocked the house unexpectedly. what the hell have these guys been practicing?! reptillian math funk. sometime close your eyes and listen to jj play the sitar, its quite rewarding if you're willing to let it dance in your brain. thanks everyone, blast o blast o rama.

Hola, you, homosapiens, you. Well, on my boredom web search I decided to check out the page for the first time in a while. The guestbook looks lovely, and I am so glad that you are no longer suppressed by the censorship of your previous provider. I hope things are going well for all of you fabulous characters. With a bit of luck, I'll be home in time to make a show.
